Offering Local Schools the Opportunity to get involved with Squash!
What We Offer
The INSPIRE Squash Academy is proud to provide a comprehensive Schools Squash Programme for both Primary & Secondary Schools!
We provide opportunities for kids of all ages & abilities to take part in Squash through School, whether they are complete beginners or more sporty students on a more competitive pathway.
Squash is a unique mix of an individual Sport, with a heavy team element associated within the tight knit community of the Sport!

Primary School Squash
Primary School Squash Festival
We are working towards a brand new Primary School Squash Festival to kick start the Squash Season!
Join other local Primary Schools in a festival of Squash Games, Activities & Challenges!
These sessions are fun for the whole class, making it an inclusive & welcoming environment for kids of all abilities.
Try a new Sport, compete with other Schools & give your students the opportunity to be inspired to get into Squash!
The BE INSPIRED Cup
2024/25
Our flagship School Squash Event is our Primary School Squash Competition:
The BE INSPIRED Cup!
Schools Compete against each other across multiple stages to be crowned the Champions!
Teams of 4 comprising of 2 boys & 2 girls take on other School in an Every Point Counts format, with adapted rules to help kids compete.
Our competition is open to Years 4, 5 & 6.
In School Squash
By using our portable Squash Walls, we can bring the amazing Sport of Squash to you!
We set up the nets in your School Hall & deliver high quality Coaching to your students.
For those Schools that struggle to get to a Squash Court, we offer a range of packages from one off taster Sessions or Mini Squash Festivals at your School, to a block of Coaching Sessions to allow your students the opportunity to learn the Sport over a number of weeks.
Following on from in School Sessions, their is the opportunity to join us at one of our venues for a bespoke opportunity for the kids to experience Squash on a Squash Court.

We offer a range of bespoke opportunities for Schools to get involved with Squash by joining us at one of our Venues!
Get the full Squash experience, on Court with our qualified Coaches!
Squash is a hugely enjoyable yet challenging Sport, great for teaching kids fundamental skills, movements & resilience. It can be played by players of all abilities & ages, making it a vey inclusive Sport.
If your School swims at one of our partner venues, we offer a great opportunity to link your School Swimming Lessons with Squash!

After School Squash
Struggling to make an in School Session? Or interested in offering your pupils an opportunity to play Squash After School?
We offer Schools an opportunity to continue to provide Squash to your students after one of our School Squash Packages. This allows those that are keen to play & learn more Squash, to do so with School.
There are options for the Session to be run by one of our qualified Coaches, or the School can benefit from our Teacher upskilling to allow you to run the Sessions yourselves.
Smaller class sizes makes transport easier to & from the Sessions. We can work with you proved bespoke solutions for your School.
Teacher Upskilling / CPD
As part of our School Squash Programme we offer a 3-Hour Workshop to Upskill Teachers & provide them with CPD opportunities!
This Workshop is ideal to help Teachers assist on Coaching Sessions while supporting their Students learning the game.
The Schools Squash Leaders Award is aimed at teachers, or level 2 coaches (in any sport) who want to deliver Squash to children aged 5 upwards.
We need a minimum number of interested participants to run a Workshop.
Secondary School Squash
P.E Squash
Squash is an excellent Sport to include as part of a P.E Curriculum!
For kids who don't typically fit into regular Team Sports or conventional School Sports, Squash offers a great individual Sport for Players to get into and learn.
Players that already have experience of other Racket Sports often excel at Squash too & provide another opportunity to develop their skills.
All year groups can be accommodated & we can work with you for a bespoke solution for your School!
After School Squash
After-School sessions are a great way to offer Squash to your pupils!
A number of Schools use Squash as one of their electives or extra-curricular activities.
This can be covered by the School or at an additional cost to the students, however we will work with you to create a bespoke plan for your School.
A number of our Juniors attend local Secondary Schools, so providing this as an opportunity is a great way to support their development!
G.C.S.E, A-Level & DofE
We have a great amount of experience in helping Students through their GCSE P.E, when they Choose Squash as a Sport!
We can work with your School to either provide Group GCSE Sessions or help with individual Students.
We have also helped a number of Juniors with their DofE, either through Volunteering or Physical Sections.

Macclesfield District Championship
We are proud to provide all Local Secondary Schools with the opportunity to take part in a Local Secondary School Competition:
The Macclesfield District Championships
We follow the same format as the National School Championships so hopefully there is natural continuity between the Local Competition & the National Competition.
It is our hope that Schools consider entering both Competitions to provide their students of all levels the opportunity to represent their School, at both Local & National Level!
National School Championships
Open to players of all abilities, the National Schools Championships offer all Secondary Schools around the country an accessible route into the exciting world of competitive Squash!
Whether your school has keen beginners looking to get their first taste of competition or seasoned competitors gunning for national glory, this tournament has something for everyone – whatever their level!
There are categories for Boy's & Girls in KS3, KS4 & KS5 as well as mixed team Events.
