This weekend the Aspire Regional Team Championships took place in Warwick, where the 8 English Regions battled it out for the Regional Titles!

We are super proud to be representing the North West again this year as an Assistant Coach on the Aspire Programme! We have assisted on the Aspire Squads throughout the season and this year had the pleasure of Coaching the "A" team in their Matches throughout the weekend!

Aspire is the first step on the England Squash Talent Pathway, for younger developing players. The programmes goals are to feed the England Squash Potential programme, preparing players for the Regional Team Championships at the end of each season, whilst supporting player development.

This season over half the players were new to the Aspire Programme, taking part in their first Regional Team Championships! As a result the North West were seeded 8th for all 3 Team Categories (A Team, B Team & C Team)

Everyone conducted themselves with amazing attituded and application all weekend and played some brilliant Squash!

Both the A Team and C team beat their seeding to finish 7th out of 8, each team picking up some good wins throughout the weekend! Overall the North West finished in 7th Place, which is one better than last Season!

We look forward to continuing to climb the table with this young team, who can only go from strength to strength!

Well done to all who represented the North West this weekend! A special well done goes to the 3 INSPIRE Squash Academy Juniors, Madisen, Georgia & Lewis, who were selected to represent the North West! We are very proud of you for all the hard work you have put in to be selected for the teams!
